I like them because Memorex makes simple and easy to read discs that can just about work on any CD Player or DVD Player whenever you want to watch a film or a television show, and are easy to understand. They work great at burning your music and media files for your computer. This 100 pack of CD-R discs are really worth the money.Price: A-Convience: A-Overall: A- When it comes down to Memorex, they definitelya great head on knowing what is great media to record files from. That has been shown very well with this package of 100 CD-R discs. If you need to brun any photos or any other things from your computer and share it with others, than I absolutely recommend Memorex and their products.
They need to work for everyone, and since there have been plenty of people for whom they haven't worked, then that is sufficient reason to not risk buying them at any price. All other manufacturer's CD-Rs that I have used work perfectly on any equipment. burner, and even play back on the same drive (I check immediately after recording). In fact I don't need to know what the problem is, since I can't fix it. Perhaps this is the price one pays for the price one has paid.
They just do not work for me and my fix is to not buy them again.Reading comments like: "I don't know why people don't like them", "I had no problems with any of the CD's", "They all worked fine", and "I don't see why they don't work on some" is not a good enough reason to go out and buy them. They also play on a cheapo multi-CD player and in my truck CD-player, but not one, repeat, not one, will play back on my HI-FI quality single-CD player (a Rotel). This particular batch was in the older purple wrapper. These Memorex CD-Rs cannot be counted on to work in all CD players. I burned over 20 CDs and they seemed to record fine on my PC's Memorex (coincidence).
Whether the problem is the blue colour of the disc, the colour of the label, or the thickness of the disc is irrelevant.
The price was excellent, and they work awesome. I use these to record messages from the pastor on Sunday morning. I bought three 100 cd packs.
Very few duds, but compatibility was a problem in 12/22 drives. This is not good.
A pack of 100 cds and so far ( I've used about 2 of them) no have been scratched or have had any defects. They're great, especially when you consider the price.
